Throughout his entire life, Jesse Flores (lead singer of Vudu Cafe) has been writing and performing music. Live performances began when he was just 13yrs old, Jesse was also asked by Blues legend John Lee Hooker to join him for a summer tour of California when he was 13. Over the last several years Vudu Café has gained a large fan base in Texas, and internet radio airplay all over the world including the BBC, his Chicano Rock juggernaut is taking off like a bullet. As CEO of his own record label (JoJe Records) & his own publishing company (JoJe Publishing) Jesse has became a very savvy business man & sought after music producer, running three successful companies and continuously performing with Vudu Café. To date, Vudu Café has released four full length albums (two of which where for overseas markets) and is becoming a house hold name in California. Jesse was invited in January 2011 by Freddy Sanchez of El Chicano to join them on stage at the Voices Of Latin Rock concert series. Not only did he join El Chicano, but Malo & Tierra invited him onstage as well. Through out 2011 Jesse has performed with Brenton Wood, Joe Bataan, Rudy Salas & Tierra, and in August Vudu Café was joined on stage with surprise special guests El Chicano for performances of Sabor A Mi & Viva Tirado to a sold at crowd at the Galaxy Concert Theater. Jesse paid homage to Chicano Rock legends Malo by including his rendition of their hit ‘’Suavecito’’ on Vudu Café’s 2011 break through album ‘’Chicano Life.” Later this year and the beginning of 2012, Vudu Café will be performing more shows in California, the biggest is 2012’s Voices Of Latin Rock.
