2009 Successful Journeys
Family Success by Design is so proud of our current and future graduates. Kathy Hernandez has been a personal mentee of the founder of our organization since she was 15 years old, graduated this week from California State University Long Beach. Kathy has dedicated numerous volunteer hours with FSbD along with designing our Black and Brown Young Men’s Summit Logo,with her passion for Art, thank you. La Puente High School graduate Martin Garcia who wa awarded a full Presidential right to Villanova University and leaves for Pennsylvania soon, his three year journey. Martin has dedicated tireless hours volunteering as our FSbD Youth Ambassador and became our first successful Master of Ceremony for the B & B YMS in 2009. We congratulate our wonderful Board member Dr. Cynthia Olivo on her completion of her Doctorate at La Verne University.
We are so proud of our elementary, middle school and high school graduates and those promoted to the next grade, you are all an inspiration!
We are also honored to report the young men who were not only participants of the first in the nation occupational therapy founded “Black and Brown Young Men’s Summit” in April are making a critical difference everyday in their communities. More to follow on their personal journeys coming soon.
